Our story

A passion for Thai food

At LemonGrass the philosophy is simple: every dish is prepared to order, using only the freshest produce with hand-blended spices and curry pastes and no added MSG. The chefs and the whole team are trained in-house, in the respect and love of food, and that care shows in the consistent quality and presentation of every meal.

The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All food is freshly cooked at the time of your order with local ingredients – no pre-cooking is done in the kitchen. There is a large range of fish and seafood, many vegetarian options and constantly changing weekly specials, so regular guests always find something new to try alongside their favourites.

On the menu

The Thai classics

The menu features all of the popular Thai choices, all prepared with authentic Thai herbs and flavourings. Among the dishes guests come back for again and again are:

  • Tom Yam Goong – the famous hot and sour Thai soup with fresh prawns
  • Yam Nuea – the classic Thai beef salad with juicy grilled steak tossed with toasted ground rice, lemon juice and coriander
  • Gaeng Keow Waan – the definitive green chicken curry, flavoured with aromatics, coconut milk, green beans and bamboo shoots
  • Pla Lad Prik – whole fish marinated in lemon and spices, deep fried and served with chilli sauce
  • Khao Pad – Thai-style fried rice with chicken, egg, tomato, onion, shallots and green vegetables
  • Pad Thai – rice noodles fried with dried shrimp, prawns, tamarind and fish sauce, garnished with bean sprouts and lime

Choose a drink to accompany your meal from the comprehensive list of coffees, teas, fresh juices, spirits, local Bintang and Heineken beers and wine from Bali, Australia and Chile. To finish, try Gluay Too – Thai-style fried banana fritters with maple syrup and vanilla ice cream – or Mamuang Khao Nieo, freshly cooked sticky rice with coconut milk and slices of sweet mango sprinkled with sesame seeds.

Celebrations

Events and catering

The art of preparing and cooking mouthwatering Thai and Indonesian food is the team’s passion. The kitchen is constantly developing new taste combinations, always with the freshest produce and hand-blended spices and curry pastes with no added MSG, and brings the same approach to private celebrations.

Catering and events were part of the LemonGrass offer for occasions such as weddings, birthdays, family celebrations, meetings and business receptions, with Thai, Indonesian and Pan-Asian food, drinks and entertainment arranged around each occasion. The idea was always the same: an adaptable team and a stylish, careful approach, just like a meal in the restaurant.
